The Fantasy Suites on The Golden Bachelor were as sweet, awkward, and romantic as we imagined they would be. Oh, and did we mention next level cringe? Has Gerry Turner already revealed who the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with is?

Gerry Turner started this journey with an open mind and remained this way through the Fantasy Suites. After losing his wife, Gerry realized he did not want to be alone for the rest of his life. Make no mistake, though, Gerry was still very timid and shy at the beginning. Now he is down to the final two women, Leslie and Theresa. Gerry, disappointingly, asked both women to join him in a suite.

Why are we disappointed, you ask? Because, at least in our opinion, the woman for Gerry is Leslie. Their date was a lot more fun and adventurous. Gerry and Leslie talked throughout the date, sharing more details about themselves and even discussing where they would live, agreeing that they’ll “figure it out” when the time comes.

Gerry’s date with Theresa did not give the same romantic feels that Leslie’s did. In fact, it was the opposite. Gerry was more reserved and quiet that even Theresa noticed. And, during their dinner, Gerry asked Theresa what she does for a living…excuse me? Is this not one of the first questions you ask a potential partner? I don’t know about you, but this question shocked me. It’s clear that Leslie is the one Gerry knows and understands the most.

However, the surprises didn’t stop there. Even though Gerry had doubts and wasn’t feeling Theresa as much as Leslie, he invited Theresa to the suite, anyway. Shame, Gerry…shame. And if that wasn’t heartbreaking enough, how sad was it to see Theresa wave goodbye to Gerry, shouting “I love you!” only for Gerry to say nothing and just continue walking away. Oof! The finale is not going to leave a dry eye in the house!

There’s no new episode next week, though, due to Thanksgiving. Instead, we’ll have to wait until Nov. 30 to learn who Gerry will be proposing to.
