Jason Momoa is a 44-year-old actor who was born in Hawaii but relocated to the United States at a very young age. He’s best known for roles like Aquaman in the titular DC movies, Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones, Dante in Fast X, and Duncan Idaho in Dune. He made his acting debut in Baywatch back in the late 1990s and has since also starred in shows like Frontier and See.

Momoa’s next movie, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, hits theaters on Dec. 22, and now that the actors’ strike is over he can promote it on Saturday Night Live tonight. He’s got a few other upcoming projects in the works, but nothing as soon as the superhero sequel.

Tonight’s show will mark Momoa’s second time hosting Saturday Night Live, as the DC actor previously took on the gig in 2018 during season 44. He hosted while Mumford & Sons performed, and Robert DeNiro made a surprise appearance in one of the skits. We’ll be so curious to see what celebs make surprise cameos tonight, if any!

Who is Tate McRae?

Not familiar with the musical guest for Saturday Night Live this evening, Tate McRae? Don’t worry, I wasn’t either! The singer/dancer first saw widespread recognition while competing in So You Think You Can Dance at the age of 13, where she finished as a finalist. She’s been dancing since she was a child and achieved a lot at a young age, including performing for Justin Bieber’s Purpose World Tour in 2016 and the same year dancing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

McRae gained more popularity on social media, particularly on YouTube, where she uploaded videos of herself performing songs she had written. In 2019, she signed with RCA Records and put out her first EP titled All the Things I Never Said. At the time of this writing, McRae has two EPs and one album out. She’ll be at SNL promoting her second studio album, Think Later, which will be released on Dec. 8, 2023.

As part of the Think Later album, McRae has released the singles “Greedy” and “Exes,” which will likely be the two songs she sings tonight on Saturday Night Live. Or she might surprise her fans with something new! Either way, we’re sure she’ll be great.

Are you excited to watch SNL tonight? We’re sure it’ll be another talked-about episode!
