CBS announced their midseason schedule and now it’s ABC’s turn. They, however, will be popping out the gate in January 2024 instead of waiting until the second month of the year to begin their roll out. First up is The Bachelor season 28 which debuts Monday, Jan. 22 at 8 p.m. ET with a two hour premiere which will introduces us to the women vying for Joey Graziadei’s heart.

The last time we saw the tennis enthusiast was on The Golden Bachelor (which is getting a season 2!) during the pickleball episode that also featured the first ever Bachelorette Trista Rehn, who’s still happily married to Ryan Sutter. Starting in January, we’ll get to see Joey’s journey to  hopefully finding his own life partner.

The scripted line-up for ABC kicks off on Wednesday, Feb. 7 with the season premieres of The Conners, Not Dead Yet, and Abbott Elementary. The season 3 debut of the Quinta Brunson-led comedy will have a one hour premiere at 9 p.m. ahead of Judge Steve Harvey. Unlike most of the scripted programming returning in 2024, Abbott Elementary will have 14 episodes instead of the allocated 10-13 episodes that’ll be typical of next year’s midseason schedules.

If you’re a big fan of American Idol, mark your calendar for Sunday, Feb. 18. Season 22 will premiere at 8 p.m. with a two hour premiere. Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan return as judges, with Ryan Seacrest as host.

The Tuesday slate is going to look different for viewers who enjoyed the two hour power block for The Rookie shows that led into Will Trent. Unfortunately, The Rookie: Feds was cancelled after one season. To compensate for this loss, ABC has rearranged Tuesdays programming so that on Tuesday, Feb. 20 Will Trent will start the block at 8 p.m. followed by The Rookie and then The Good Doctor will slot into the 10 o’clock spot.

The wait for 9-1-1‘s ABC debut ends on Thursday, March 14 as it’ll head a line-up that includes Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19. Keep reading for the full schedule.
