NBC continues to stay ahead of the curve. The network, which was the sole member of the Big 5 to have new programming to premiere in Fall 2023, will be closing out the year with even more premieres!

On Saturday, Dec. 23, like an early Christmas present, the Jon Cryer-led comedy Extended Family will make its debut at 8 p.m. ET before a special holiday episode of Night Court at 8:30 p.m.

Extended Family centers on newly divorced co-parents, Jim and Julia. The pair have chosen to raise their children in the family home though it does necessitate them taking turns to stay with the kids. Things get comically messy when Julia’s heart is won by the owner of Jim’s favorite sports team.

Then on New Year’s Day, Monday, Jan. 1, we’ll be treated to the premiere of America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League, a new iteration of the franchise that’ll see the judges competing against each other with a Dream Team of Acts from the show’s established universe of talent.

Extended Family and Night Court will slide into their normal Tuesday timeslots on Jan. 2. The following week, on Tuesday, Jan. 9, La Brea‘s final season will premiere at 9 p.m.–remember, it’s a short one, consisting of six episodes–and Found will continue to air in the 10 o’clock slot (though it will only be for two weeks as season 1 begins to wind down).

One Chicago fans can anticipate the return of the franchise on Wednesday, Jan. 17 and, on Thursday, Jan. 18, the Law & Order series will be back as well! With NBC’s roster of shows coming back, this will also mean Transplant is getting a new timeslot. Starting Friday, Jan. 19, the medical drama will air at 8 p.m.

The Irrational is also making its return in January. The freshman series has four more episodes in its season 1. It’ll begin airing again on Monday, Jan. 29. As for February 2024, The Voice and Deal or No Deal Island premiere on Monday, Feb. 26.

TVLine reports Magnum P.I.‘s final two episodes will air in early 2024 and the final episodes of Quantum Leap season 2 don’t have an airdate yet.
