Swifties, gather! This is Taylor Swift’s era, we’re all just living in it! And, next up, the singer-songwriter’s music is taking over ABC’s Dancing with the Stars Week 9. The episode, titled “A Celebration of Taylor Swift,” airs Tuesday, Nov. 21 on Disney+ and ABC. However, Swift won’t be making an in-person appearance.

Taylor Swift is currently on tour in Brazil, but, via video, she shared that she’ll be watching and “be there in spirit.” Is anyone else still holding out hope Swift will surprise us with a live performance? If only there was a teleportation machine.

Before “A Celebration of Taylor Swift,” Dancing with the Stars themes have included “Whitney Houston Night,” “Music Video Night,” and “Disney 100 Night.” Which has been your favorite?

At the time of this writing, we only know that Ariana and Pasha will dance the rumba to Swift’s “Cruel Summer.” It has not yet been revealed which songs the other teams will dance to, but we do know the dances they’ll be performing:

  • Harry and Rylee – Rumba
  • Jason and Daniella – Argentine tango
  • Alyson and Sasha – Cha-cha-cha
  • Xochitl and Val – Quickstep
  • Charity and Artem – Argentine tango
  • Ariana and Pasha – Rumba to “Cruel Summer”

Swift’s “Cruel Summer” is a personal top 10 favorite, but let’s be honest, all of her songs are hits. Which songs are you hoping are performed tonight? I’m thinking “Shake It Off” and “Anti-Hero” have to be included, as well as “Love Story” and “All Too Well,” right? Again, as soon as we learn which song each team is performing, we’ll update this post!

Keeping up with this season’s eliminations? Here’s a quick list:

  • Actor Matt Walsh, eliminated Week 1
  • Singer and actress Jamie Lynn Spears, eliminated Week 2
  • Actor Tyson Beckford, eliminated Week 3
  • NFL running back Adrian Peterson, eliminated Week 4
  • Actress Mira Sorvino, eliminated Week 5
  • Reality star Mauricio Umansky, eliminated Week 6
  • Social media star Lele Pons, eliminated Week 7
  • Actor Barry Williams, eliminated Week 8

Don’t miss “A Celebration of Taylor Swift” on Tuesday, Nov. 21, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC (as well as streaming on the Disney+ platform).

Whitney Houston did appear on Dancing with the Stars! It was in 2009, 14 years ago. dark. Next
