We’ve made it to another holiday, and this one is all about getting together with your family, friends, and loved ones for a delicious feast together. Of course, we’re talking about Thanksgiving! Among the many traditions for this one include a turkey dinner with gravy and mashed potatoes, football games, and the wonderful Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Each year, the exciting event takes place in Manhattan, New York, seeing amazing performers and floats take the city and entertain us watching from the streets and at home. What time is the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade?

You’ll have to turn on the TV earlier than usual this Thanksgiving because the annual New York City parade is starting 30 minutes early! The festive event begins at 8:30 a.m. ET / 5:30 a.m. PT. The parade is live so make sure to catch it right as it starts! Here’s the breakdown of how and when to watch:

For those with cable, the easiest way to tune in to watch the parade would be to turn on the channel NBC or Telemundo at 8:30 a.m. ET. If you don’t have NBC but are subscribed to the channel’s streaming service Peacock, you’re in luck because the parade will stream live on the platform. And don’t worry if you don’t want to wake up that early in time to see the whole parade; a re-airing will also be shown on NBC from 2:00 to 5:30 p.m. ET on Thanksgiving Day.

In addition to the very exciting Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade this morning, those looking to get into their comfy clothes and relax in front of the TV after eating some turkey are in luck because there’s a lot to watch today! NBC will air The National Dog Show right after the parade at 12:00 p.m. ET, where over 2,000 dogs will compete. NFL fans will also be happy to know that football is on all day.

The Green Bay Packers will play the Detroit Lions at 12:30 p.m. ET, followed by the Washington Commanders and Dallas Cowboys game at 4:30 p.m. ET Tonight, the San Fransico 49ers will play the Seattle Seahawks at 8:20 p.m. ET All three games will air on different channels, with the 12:30 p.m. game on Fox, 4:30 p.m. on CBS, and 8:20 p.m. on NBC.
