Is South Brooklyn Foundry from Kitchen Nightmares still open?

Gordon Ramsay is back with an all new episode of Kitchen Nightmares. This week, we see Ramsay take on a restaurant in the streets of Brooklyn, New York. Ramsay finds himself in a toxic work environment as South Brooklyn Foundry co-owners clash about how to run the business.

Each week, the question on our mind is if the restaurant being featured on Kitchen Nightmares is still open for business. After all, Gordon Ramsay and his team can only do so much to help. And after they leave, it’s all up to the owners and staff at the restaurant to keep up with the practices Ramsay set in place. Spoilers ahead!

South Brooklyn Foundry hours of operation and new menu

We have great news for those who would like to check out South Brooklyn Foundry for themselves! We’ve done the detective work so you don’t have to. The restaurant is very much still in business. Though they no longer post on their Facebook page, South Brooklyn Foundry is much more active on Instagram (their last post is from this week). The biggest piece of evidence, however? We called them up to confirm. Here are all the details to know:

• South Brooklyn Foundry is located at 6909 3rd Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11209
• New hours of operation were put in place earlier this month!
• The American restaurant is now closed on Tuesdays
• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.
• Friday and Saturday: 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.
• Sunday: 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
• Menu highlight: The standout on their menu (based on social media and Yelp) are the drinks and appetizers

Does South Brooklyn Foundry still offer overpriced burgers (according to Gordon Ramsay), no! In fact, it looks like burgers are no longer even the main attraction or highlight from the American restaurant. We scrolled through the restaurant’s Instagram page and only found three burgers, while their online menu doesn’t appear to offer any.

The co-owners of South Brooklyn Foundry don’t see eye-to-eye, causing their communication about the business to grow toxic while the restaurant falls into more debt. Gordon Ramsay steps in to reassess the Brooklyn eatery’s priorities and straighten out the finances before it’s too late. On food delivery sites, such as Grubhub, however, we did spy a few burgers. One that is priced at $20 and another at $24 and over. After what Ramsay has taught the team, we’re confident these are worth it! But hey, check it out if you are in the area and let us know!
