Here’s who Gerry picks as his winner in The Golden Bachelor finale

Time has seriously flown because somehow, we’ve made it to the finale of ABC’s The Golden Bachelor! The latest spinoff in the Bachelor franchise proved to be one not to miss.

As the title of the dating series suggests, we saw a twist this time around with the lead and contestants being in their senior years, specifically between the ages of 60 and 75. True love knows no age, of course, and it’s been so fun watching this journey unfold for Gerry Turner and his lovely contestants. If you’re one of the many going into the finale wanting to know who wins, don’t worry. TV guru and spoiler king Reality Steve has got us on the biggest leak!

According to a recent Instagram post from Reality Steve, which you can see here, Gerry chooses Theresa Nist in the end. That means Leslie Fhima is the runner-up, and I’m sure she’ll be crushed when she finds out she won’t be ending up with Gerry. Fans will likely be surprised as well as many were convinced Leslie would win based on social media clues and other theories.

Reality Steve also says Gerry and Theresa are engaged now.

Previously, Reality Steve shared the spoilers for Gerry’s final three (Theresa, Leslie, and Faith Martin), along with his final two. As he usually is, he was correct on all of the spoilers he shared ahead of the season even beginning.

Meet Gerry’s winner Theresa Nist

According to her ABC bio page, Theresa is a 70-year-old financial services professional living in Shrewsbury, New Jersey (go Jersey!) with children and grandchildren. She’s looking for someone to be her best friend, and a few of her interests include singing by herself while driving, playing board games, and reading romance novels (spicy!). Her Instagram account proves she’s all about her family, and you can see adorable photos of her with her loved ones here. Is Gerry ready to blend together their families? We hope so!

As for Gerry’s runner-up, Leslie is a 64-year-old fitness instructor living in Minneapolis, Minnesota, proving she’s likely trained and ready for an enduring journey! Leslie is a former professional figure skater, which is seriously impressive, and she was previously married to a restaurateur named David Fhima. As told in her ABC bio, she has kids and grandkids who she spends her time with, and she’s also run a whopping 10 marathons! That’s incredible.

The Golden Bachelor has been a wholesome ride from the start, but I’m sure the finale will be full of tears and heartbreak. Don’t miss the two-hour episode on Thursday, Nov. 30 at 8:00 p.m. ET. And for those keeping up with Bachelor in Paradise season 9, the finale is scheduled for next week on Thursday, Dec. 6. And get comfortable, because that one is set to run for three hours long!

The Bachelor franchise continues in January with the premiere of season 28 with Joey Graziadei coming on Monday, Jan. 22, 2024.
