The final episode of Saturday Night Live season 49 for 2023 has been set (and we’re not ready!)
After a break for the Thanksgiving holiday, in which Saturday Night Live aired a two-hour Thanksgiving clip special, we’re excited for the remaining three episodes of the year. It’s been announced when we can expect to see the last three episodes in 2023, who will be returning to host the comedy show, and who the musical guests will be!
When SNL returns on Dec. 2, Emma Stone will host. This marks the actress’ fifth time as host of the comedy sketch show. The three-time Academy Award nominee is currently starring on Showtime’s The Curse with Nathan Fielder. The series streams on Paramount+ with Showtime.
The episode’s musical guest is folk rock singer-songwriter Noah Kahan. It’s his debut on the show. He’ll be promoting his third album Stick Season (We’ll All Be Here Forever) which released in June 2023.
The following week, on Dec. 9, Star Wars actor and two-time Academy Award nominee Adam Driver will host. It’ll be his fourth time hosting. His appearance on SNL is a part of the lead up to the release of his film Ferrari which hits theaters on Dec. 25, 2023. The actor plays Enzo Ferrari in the movie directed by Michael Mann.
Olivia Rodrigo will be the musical guest. She’s no stranger to the show as she made her debut in 2021. The pop star’s sophomore album Guts released Sept. 8, 2023.
The final SNL episode of the year, scheduled for Dec. 16, will see the return of a former cast member for the holiday show! Kate McKinnon, who left the show in season 47, will make her debut as a host. The musical guest, making her third appearance, will be Billie Eilish. Expect Barbie references in the episode as McKinnon starred in the summer blockbuster and Eilish wrote “What Was I Made For” for the film.
SNL airs Saturdays at 11:30 p.m. ET/10:30 p.m. CT on NBC. Viewers will be able to watch the episodes on Peacock as well. Make sure to keep an eye on Hidden Remote for more SNL coverage!
