Everything to know about The Golden Bachelor’s Theresa Nist

It’s time, Bachelor Nation! Not only is Bachelor in Paradise coming to a close very soon, but the two-hour finale of The Golden Bachelor premieres tonight! ABC switched its usual Bachelor nights to Thursdays this fall season and both shows have been a wild ride. The Golden Bachelor stars  72-year-old Gerry Turner as he tries another shot at love.

The Golden Bachelor saw 22 ladies in their senior years — between 60 to 75, to be exact — compete for a rose week to week, embarking on a televised adventure of a lifetime. The series proved to be much more wholesome than we were expecting, though a recent report about Gerry has our eyebrows raised. Gerry is down to two women in the two-hour finale tonight: Theresa Nist and Leslie Fhima. Curious to learn more about Theresa and read some major spoilers? We got you!

As a Jersey girl myself, I’m happy to see a New Jersey resident so far into the running to win The Golden Bachelor! According to her ABC bio page, Theresa is a mom and grandma, who is looking for “love again after loss.” This is similar to Gerry’s journey, as he sadly lost his wife Toni in 2017 after being married for 43 years. Theresa’s family is just as supportive as Gerry’s as she takes a chance and puts herself out there once again.

When it comes to hobbies, Theresa enjoys playing board games, hula hooping, reading, gardening, and admittedly singing in the car by herself. So cute! What music does she sing to, you may wonder? She’s into rock from the 1970s. Theresa appreciates “all the little moments” in life, but she might have to take a few risks to be with Gerry, who definitely lives a loud and daring life.

We’ve found Theresa’s LinkedIn page, which shows her currently working in New Jersey at a company called TFS Securities. She attended Kean University, which is also in Jersey, and has 17 years of experience in her field. Theresa recently opened up to Gerry about her profession on The Golden Bachelor and he seemed very impressed.

As proven by Theresa’s Instagram page, she is her kids’ and grandkids’ biggest fan as she frequently shares photos with them and of their fun activities. It seems she and Gerry would be a great match to blend families.

Does Theresa win The Golden Bachelor?

Reality Steve finally has all the spoilers for The Golden Bachelor, and if you’re rooting for Theresa already, we come bearing good news. According to an Instagram post from the TV guru, the 70-year-old Jersey girl does win this season. She and Gerry are engaged, according to the scooper. This will be sad news for Leslie, of course, who has also fallen hard for Gerry.

Reality Steve previously reported that Theresa, Leslie, and Faith Martin would make it to the hometown dates, and after that, Faith would be eliminated. Now that we’ve made it to the finale, we know this all is true.

Theresa and Gerry have had a connection since the start of the season, although she did not receive the First Impression Rose in the premiere (that went to Faith). But while there’s an undeniable connection between them, it’s been difficult for fans to predict Gerry’s decisions as he’s said he’s falling for multiple women. We would’ve bet that he would get engaged to Faith in the end given their spark, but he shockingly sent her home. It seems that Gerry is very confused with his decision, but he’ll ultimately give his final rose to Theresa in the finale this evening.
