Is Max’s Bar and Grill from Kitchen Nightmares still open?

The Kitchen Nightmares season 8 two-hour finale kicks off in Long Branch, New Jersey, where Gordon Ramsay and his team visit Max’s Bar and Grill. Of all restaurants featured this season, this has definitely been the most challenging! Only minutes in had us wondering if Max’s Bar and Grill is still open. Here’s what we know!

Ramsay and the Kitchen Nightmares team only leave the restaurant they are helping after the job is done! When they walk out the door, the business has been set up for success — it’s all up to the owners and their crew after Ramsay leaves the kitchen. That said, not every restaurant manages to keep up with everything they have learned. Spoilers ahead.

Yes, Max’s Bar and Grill is still open (and still complicated)

We did the research so you don’t have to! In short, yes! Max’s Bar and Grill is open for business. The hours of operation, however? Seem to be all over the place, and the same can be said about the menu options. The restaurant is active on Facebook and Instagram, but we also gave them a ring to be extra sure Max’s is still in business.

Don’t get us started on the hours of operation, though! We couldn’t seem to find two schedules that are the same. Google gives you different results than the restaurant’s main page, for example, and Facebook has different hours listed, too! They only open four days out of the week, Thursday-Sunday, but different hours each day. Your best bet if you want to stop by? Give Max’s Bar and Grill a call.
