Saltburn is streaming on Prime Video

As mentioned above, Saltburn will begin streaming Friday, Dec. 22, 2023 on Prime Video. Since the production company is Amazon MGM Studios Distribution, it’s not really surprising that the movie is coming to Prime Video.

Compared to the other streamers, I actually like Prime Video and think it’s easy to use. The platform has also been great about adding new content that we’re actually interested in. Prime Video is included in your Amazon Prime shopping membership that’s $14.99/month if you have one. If you don’t, then you can subscribe to the streamer separately for $8.99/month. And that’s it! There’s no “with ads” or “no ads” options. All the content is available without ads. And honestly, that’s the best thing ever. That’s how all streamers should be.

You can watch on Prime Video by following these steps:

  • Visit the Amazon Prime or Prime Video sign up page
  • Create an account by entering an email and password
  • Enter your chosen payment method
  • Login to stream via your account

Saltburn is centered around Oxford University student Oliver Quick (Barry Keoghan) who is finding it hard to fit in at school, per the synopsis. Enter the “aristocratic Felix Catton” (Jacob Elordi) who invites Oliver to his “eccentric family’s” estate, Saltburn. And the two will experience a summer “never to be forgotten.”

The Barry Keoghan and Jacob Elordi-led movie is honestly I’d say an eccentric production. But it’s definitely an interesting watch and worth it. On Rotten Tomatoes, it has a 71% overall rating, and a 77% audience score. Overall the film has been praised for its cinematography and the cast’s acting. However, audience members have been split in half on whether they enjoyed the story.

Some did, while others feel like the psychological thriller aspect of it took things a bit far. And from my personal viewing of it, I can tell you that this film really isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. There’s some graphic and intense sexual moments that you might not expect. So just be aware of that going in if you haven’t seen the movie yet. Though overall, I think it’s worth watching as Saltburn portrays how far one disturbed individual is willing to go to get what he wants. And it definitely makes for an interesting story in my book!
