Of course it’s Christmas, but is anyone else enjoying the new peppermint cold foam at Starbucks? I know I am, and if you haven’t had it, try it ASAP. Like we do each and every week, we’re sharing all the best Netflix movies and shows debuting beginning the week of Dec. 11, 2023.

Ever so often, we come across the calm before the storm week at Netflix. While a couple of new titles will have people talking, next week, the streaming giant releases two huge films, Bradley Cooper’s Maestro and Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon. Don’t worry before we look ahead, we share some fun new titles below.

New Netflix movies and shows to watch this week

  • Under Pressure: The U.S. Women’s World Cup Team, Dec. 11
  • Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget, Dec. 15
  • Carol & The End of the World, Dec. 15

If you have the kids on the verge of being home for the holidays, Netflix has ramped up some kid’s content with the release of the latest film in the Chicken Run franchise Chicken Run: Dawn of Nuggets. The movie follows Ginger and Rocky, who welcome a little one into their lives. As this happens, the mainland faces a new villain who threatens the lives of all the chickens.

One of the biggest questions I get asked is if the movie is good for adults to enjoy with their kids. Obviously it varies per film, but with Chicken Run: Dawn of Nuggets, it’s fun for the whole family. Sit back, pop some popcorn, and prepare for a fun little family night.

We also have an option for the teenagers this week with the ten-episode animated series Carol & The End of the World. The plot of the series is: “With a mysterious planet heading towards Earth, extinction is imminent for the world. While everyone is chasing their wildest dreams, one woman stands alone, lost among the masses.”

From our suggestions, what will you be watching? Are you excited about Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget? Or will you be checking out Under Pressure: The U.S. Women’s World Cup Team with me? Let us know, and let’s hope next week brings us more Netflix additions.
