As the television season winds down for the winter hiatus, that means we won’t have much to look forward to on television before the holidays arrive. There are some shows that are still airing, but others have already finished for the midseason. Is 911: Lone Star on that list? Luckily we won’t have to wait too long for the fall finale for this one!

The last episode of 911: Lone Star followed Tommy as she prepared for an experimental treatment for her breast cancer. Unfortunately, her insurance refused to cover it, leaving Owen working with the team to attempt to rectify the situation.

They all worked together to go over the budget outline from the LAFD, and just when it looked like they were losing the battle, the LAPD also joined them in solidarity.

Plus, Carlos’s hunt for his father’s murderer continued, which left tension in his marriage with TK. As for TK himself, he also wanted to see about adopting his little brother Jonah, after his stepfather Enzo got into legal hot water. The couple fought over this, as Carlos was focused on trying to solve this case and didn’t think it was the right time to talk about raising a toddler.

When will the fall finale of 911: Lone Star air?

In a surprising twist, after finding a suspect who may have been involved in the case, Carlos discovered who was actually behind the murder. With this bit of information, Carlos now has to be careful about who he can trust in solving his father’s case.

The last time Carlos thought he had a suspect, he went rogue and almost made a huge mistake in killing an undercover agent. He can’t afford to be reckless again so he has to be careful to figure out if Campbell is involved or if the original suspect lied to him before his death.

So even though this was the second to last episode to air for the midseason, we do unfortunately have to wait another week. The fall finale episode is scheduled to air on Monday, Dec. 2 at 8/7c.

We don’t have enough information yet about what we can expect. However, based on the promo, it looks like Carlos will be involved in a shootout that could leave him injured. We’re hoping he will be alright, especially with only a few episodes left before the end of the series.

Plus, we also saw that Owen was given the opportunity to become fire chief in New York. This would be a full circle moment for the character and it could allow someone at the 126 to take over, perhaps Judd even though technically he is considered a Probie again.

There is a lot to look forward to, but hopefully after the episode airs, we can enjoy the hiatus after an eventful fall season of television.

Until the show returns for another adventure with the 126, you can find previous episodes of 911: Lone Star on Hulu.
