The wait has been long, but the TGIT break comes to an end. We’re ready for a new episode of 911 season 8 tonight, Thursday, March 6.
It has been a long wait. While this has been excruciating, there is good news when it comes to continuity. There are no reasons for many breaks in the schedule like there are with other shows. Just look at NBC fans tonight—they’re not getting new episodes of any of the Law & Order shows or Found because of the need for breaks in the schedule.
So, all eyes are now on what to expect in the new episode tonight. There is a lot to cover!
911 season 8’s return involves a serial killer
The new episode will feature a serial killer. The promo for the return made that clear, and we know that Maddie is at risk. It looks like she may end up with a call that is connected to this serial killer. This then potentially leads to the serial killer figuring out where she lives so he can take her. It’ll be a race for Buck and Chimney to get to her in time.
The 118 will have a call of their own to deal with. There’s a fire at an animal shelter, and the 118 will need to save as many animal lives as possible. This is surely one that we’re all going to watch on the edge of our seats, because who isn’t an animal lover out there? Nobody is allowed to kill the animals! Humans are fine; animals not so much!
There are also a lot of questions that we need answering in the episode. The fall finale left us with questions about Eddie. He was looking for homes to buy, but not in Los Angeles. He needed homes in Texas so that he could be closer to Christopher. I get that people are disappointed if it means Buddie can’t happen, but this is so important to show what it takes to be a good father. Eddie needs tomove to be closer to his son to give Christopher the live Christopher deserves and still be part of it. There is no debate there!
