Last week's episode of Abbott Elementary, season 4 episode 17, "Karaoke," was seriously one of the best and funniest episodes from the comedy series. I enjoyed it so much, and I thought it was done so well. When Jacob suddenly starts angry singing "Last Resort" by Papa Roach, getting a chance to see the Abbott gang together outside of school, and Ava and O'Shon's date were all such big highlights from the episode. Thankfully there's a new episode to look forward to very soon!
Abbott Elementary season 4 episode 18, "Audit," airs tonight, March 19, 2025 at 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC, as well as streaming on Hulu the next day tomorrow. As for this evening though, be sure to block out a half hour of your time to watch our favorite sitcom! Check out all the release times below:

Abbott Elementary gets audited in tonight's episode
As you can guess from the title of the episode, it seems like the school is going to get audited. This happens every year as a way to check out schools' financial records and that they're comlying with regualtions. But the focus is definitely on the financial aspect.
Now this would be fine if not for the fact that as established in season 4 episode 14, Abbott is actually doing pretty well thanks to them blackmailing the golf club. Though now they're going to have to hide that fact. Here's what the official synopsis of Abbott Elementary season 4 episode 18 tells us:
"Ava and the teachers must band together to hide the golf-course contraband."
The staff is definitely going to have their hands full as there's quite a few things they'll need to keep from the auditors like the new and shiny computers, maybe even the scoreboard that kept breaking down, and more. Will they be able to do it, or will they be caught? I sure hope not! Though thinking back to the "District Budget Meeting" episode (episode 14), the series seemed to foreshadow that they won't be able to hide they're getting outside help. Especially after Ava's frenemy, Krystal, being sus about Jacob mentioning the school not needing material things at the meeting. Oh, Jacob.
Finally, there's a funny scene from the promo of tonight's episode where Janine and Ava surprisingly show up to work wearing the same dress! This truly proves how Janine's wardrobe has evolved over the seasons, and it's especially hilarious because Ava still makes fun of her outfit choices. But magically, in Ava fashion, she switches out of the dresses quickly before Janine can get a picture of the two of them matching. Ha!
