Bold and the Beautiful spoiler: Brooke Logan is shocked by an underhanded plot she overhears

The Bold and the Beautiful is threatening to heat up with a Forrester takeover plot the likes of which we haven't seen in years. It started coming together on Friday, Nov. 15's episode as Carter Walton had an idea that's certain to irreparably damage his relationship with the Forresters once it's found out. He floated the idea of signing his name on the LLC paperwork Ridge told him to handle. Doing so would give him control of the company. Don't try to make it make sense, it doesn't.

In any case, Hope Logan was momentarily blown away by what Carter was proposing until she latched onto it and started talking about how he's underappreciated anyway and really the company is nly successful because of him. Neither of those claims are truthful but I'm digressing. Together, with Hope's hand over Carter's, they signed the paperwork.

Carter thinks he can get away with this because Steffy and Ridge trust him so much to take care of contracts that they won't check. Something tells me this time they will, but they may not need to if someone tells them what's going on. Who could that character be? According to the preview for the week of Nov. 18, it's Brooke Logan!

Hatching a plot to take Forrester right from under the Forresters really shouldn't take place at the cabin on Brooke's property but that's exactly where Hope and Carter are as they continue to talk about it. At some point in their discussion, Brooke comes up to the door. They have no idea that she's there otherwise they'd be quieter because she overhears what they're saying and it shocks her to her core.

Brooke has been Hope's champion this entire time, pleading for Ridge to listen to her and reverse Steffy's decision to end Hope for the Future and fire her daughter. She wouldn't tell him that Hope was really wearing lingerie for Carter and wasn't trying to seduce Finn, but she begged for him to take her word over Steffy's. He, of course, wouldn't because he was determined to support his daughter just like Brooke was supporting hers.

Now that Hope is in on a plan to take Forrester, would Brooke really set back and let that happen? Sure, she's done that before herself, but that doesn't necessarily mean she'd let Hope steal from Ridge and Eric. But if she does, she can definitely kiss her romance with her "destiny" goodbye because there's no way Ridge is just going to be fine with her sitting on information like this.

It seems doubtful that Hope and Carter are going to get away with their scheme, so whether Steffy and Ridge look over the paperwork for once or Brooke spills the beans, this colossal bad idea from Carter and Hope is likely to go down in flames. If it does, the reaction the Forresters are going to have is certain to be fire and brimstone levels of furious.
