CBS has become the first network to reveal its CBS fall schedule, and surprisingly, there are a good number of changes coming fans' way this fall.

The most notable changes to the lineup are the delayed returns of several beloved returning series, with Ghosts, Matlock, and NCIS: Sydney all pushed back to midseason. This is a notable shift for Ghosts and Matlock, in particular, as both shows have been staples on the fall lineup since their respective starts. As for NCIS: Sydney, the show is on the move to midseason as CBS has announced the pickup of a new spinoff, NCIS: New York, starring LL Cool J and Scott Caan.

With Ghosts and Matlock both on the move to midseason, CBS will slot in two new series on Thursday nights while also moving Elsebeth to a new time beginning this fall. And there is at least some good news for Ghosts fans, as CBS will air a Halloween and Christmas special in the fall to help bridge the gap and also continue the show's tradition of airing annual holiday episodes.

Also on the move are FBI and CIA, which will both move up an hour on CBS' Monday night block with Harlan Coben's Final Twist season 2 rounding out Monday nights in the 10 p.m. time slot on the night.

NCIS Tuesdays will also look a bit different in the fall. NCIS will continue to open the night, but NCIS: Origins is on the move to the 10 p.m. time slot with NCIS: New York slotting into the 9 p.m. time slot between the two series.
