Dancing With the Stars celebrates Disney Night and team dances before the next elimination in week 6
Dancing With the Stars “Disney Night” was full of spectacular performances from the eightt remaining celebrity couples. In addition, they also had team dances that were full of fun and plenty of sparkle to shine through the night. Of course, our least favorite part of the night came when it was time to say goodbye to one couple. It’s getting harder to say goodbye as we reach the end, especially since this season has been filled with so many amazing routines!
With performances to films such as 101 Dalmations, Tarzan, Hercules, The Little Mermaid, and Deadpool, each couple worked hard to get high scores that would reflect the work they have done to make it this far into the competition. Even though there were still some critiques in the routines, it will be something they will have to get used to the closer we get to the finals.
However, those such as Jenn Tran and Chandler Kinney, showed off the work they did to make up for judges’s comments the week before. Kinney truly gave it her all and her scores reflected the hard work she put into the rehearsals before showtime.
Who did we say goodbye to on Dancing With the Stars Disney Night?
In addition to the individual performances, the couples also worked together in teams. Team Roar consisted of Dwight Howard, Phaedra Parks, Stephen Nederoscik, and Danny Amendola while Team Goofs consisted of Ilona Maher, Kinney, Trann, and Joey Graziadei. Both teams had incredible performances, but the Goofs got the highest score put together.
This was added onto the individual dance scores before it came time to say goodbye to one celebrity couple. The couple who was eliminated was Phaedra and her partner, Val Chmerkovskiy. As sad as we are to see them go, we have loved getting to see their partnership each week. Now with only seven couples left, it will be much harder to see someone else go!
It’s always difficult to say goodbye, especially now that we’re closer to the finish line and all of the celebrities have been working so hard. We’re looking forward to seeing how they all continue to improve as they get closer to the Mirror Ball trophy.
The next episode of DWtS will be a fun-filled Halloween night and we’re so excited to see the couples dressing up for the occasion! Make sure to tune in and hopefully your favorite will stay in the competition!
Dancing With the Stars airs on ABC Tuesdays at 8/7c.
