The Dancing With the Stars season 33 semi finals were full of spectacular performances and even featured a twist to the elimination process for the finals. After some incredible dances, what happened when it came time to find out who made it another week?
To start off the show, we got an incredible dance from Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong. While judge Derek Hough may have felt there wasn’t enough salsa in the dance, it was still incredible to see how far Chandler has come. She has proven herself to be such a graceful dancer and she always comes back each week striving to continue to perform in a better capacity.
Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson also gave some stunning performances that earned them high scores from the judges, which also put them in first place on the leaderboard. He has continued to shine and had a goal to be the first Bachelor contestant to make it to the finals on DWtS.
Ilona Maher and Alan Berstein continued to show just how hard they worked to get Ilona to where she is today. She has proven to herself and the audience that she has the capability to be graceful and elegant and we are thrilled to watch her perform every week.
What was the surprise twist during semi-finals elimination on Dancing With the Stars?
Danny Amendola and Whitney Carson have always been fun to watch and the semi finals were no different. He has shown just how hard he has worked to be here and it showed that he took in the judges’s comments for the second dance. It was full of amazing footwork and tricks that managed to work for the dance routine they were performing.
Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold did some amazing routines as well, although he did get ahead of himself a little bit during the first dance. However, he made up for it with the second dance, even when his glasses went awry, but Stephen did not let that deter him. They both did such a great job and showed how hard they were working to make it to the end.
Then it was time for the elimination. Luckily for Chandler, Joey, and Danny, their names were called as making it to the finals. But what about Ilona and Stephen? As it turned out, they both made it to the finals as well! No one was eliminated!
It was a surprising, and welcome, twist especially since we love watching all of the couples perform! If only it were possible for everyone to share the mirror ball trophy, especially for such an amazing cast this season!
Make sure to tune in for the season 33 finals and find out who will take home the Len Goodman Mirrorball trophy.
