Tuesday nights are usually packed with comedy, reality, and drama on NBC. Things are a little different this Tuesday, March 4, but there is still one thing happening. We will get a new episode of Deal or No Deal Island.
Tuesday, March 4 will see a news special across the four big networks. They will all have their own coverage of the Presidential Address to the Joint Session of Congress. It’s a huge moment in politics, and it’s not surprising that the networks are opting to give this air time instead of usual shows.
That starts at 9 p.m. ET, which means that the usual shows on at that time and the hour after are being pre-empted. Some 8 p.m. ET/PT shows are airing, but NBC is opting for a slight change.
Deal or No Deal Island will air an hour earlier
Instead of having new episodes of St. Denis Medical and Night Court, NBC is opting to pre-empt the two shows and pull Deal or No Deal Island an hour earlier. That means you’ll want to reset your DVRs to make sure you record the episode that airs.
This is episode 9. The previous episode saw the shock elimination of La Shell. Parvati decided to go against her word to La Shell and put her up against The Banker. La Shell made a bad deal, sending her home from the competition.
There is certainly some bad blood among the remaining contestants now, though. Lete, Phillip, and CK were not happy about the decision for La Shell to go. She was beloved by all, and once again The Family alliance has proven to be dangerous for everyone else. So, will the others attempt to gang up on Parvati and David?
We also have the issue of Dickson who seems to be playing both sides now. He is angry that Lete didn’t stand up for him when Phillip and CK thought he should be the one up to play The Banker, but he’s also angry that Parvati didn’t immediately say she wouldn’t put him up against The Banker when he said he didn’t want to do it. He’s like the characters in rebellions who play the two sides until they figure out which one is the right side of history.
Deal or No Deal Island will air on Tuesday, March 4 at 8/7c on NBC. It will then return back to the 9/8c timeslot.
