It’s been a long break, but TGIT is back. Doctor Odyssey returns with episode 9, and it’s about to get a little Jaws like!
There was a lot going on throughout the first half of the season. We got to see wild saves and even wilder romantic moments. The second half of the season will need to bring some major events if it wants to top things, and we know that the return is going to bring just that.
This is a two-part episode, so expect a cliffhanger at the end of episode 9. We’ll get the conclusion next Thursday, March 13.
It’s Shark Week in Doctor Odyssey season 1, episode 9
The new episode will see Max and the team deal with a scary moment. They end up in some shark-infested moments, and it leads to Munroe being bitter. There are some images out that show Munroe and Tristan surfing, and it looks like this is when the shark bite happens. Will Tristen end up with some sort of survivor’s guilt?
The entire situation will see the cruise ship have to go off course. There’s a sinking ship in these shark infested waters, and there’s no way that Captain Massey will be able to leave anyone behind. It just means putting everyone he knows and the passengers on his ship at risk.
There’s going to be a new doctor joining the team. We’ll meet Brooke, a trauma surgeon who will be able to help with the growing number of patients on the ship. The promo makes it clear that this is going to cause problems for Max and Avery, and what’s the betting that that moment will push us into the second hour?
We will see some relationship drama in the new episode. Avery is facing a difficult decision, and she and Max are at opposite ends. Max wants to do the right thing, but he stumbles through it all. So, it’s not surprising that he makes a mess here. The question is what the difficult decision is. Will Avery keep the baby or not?
