Electra Forrester opens up about the scandal that led her to LA on The Bold and the Beautiful

The Bold and the Beautiful finally revealed just what exactly it was that sent Electra Forrester running from her hometown to Los Angeles as soon as her aunt Ivy offered her a position as her assistant. The young Forrester has been anxious ever since Co-CEOs Steffy and Ridge announced that she would be a part of the marketing for the relaunch of the jewelry line.

Electra tried to protest but they thought it was just nerves and, since she wouldn't share why she was so apprehensive, they moved forward with their plans because they thought it would be good for her and the business. Ivy, however, did know why Electra didn't want her face splashed across the web though she, too, didn't see the harm in it.

But the up-and-coming jewelry designer does have something major to worry about though she's unaware at the moment. She has a stalker by the name of Remy Price who also happens to be her friend. She was excited to see him when they "bumped" into each other at Il Giardino. But Remy has a huge secret. He's obsessed with her to the point of having countless pictures of her tacked up on his walls and likely on his phone.

Pictures are very important in this storyline as it's photos that Electra is uncomfortable with and that's due to deep fakes that were released of her online. Someone used the base image of a real picture she took in a white slip dress and transformed it into something salacious. Though it wasn't stated, the implication was that the photo had been altered into a nude. She never took pictures like that so they were AI-generated.

It's a timely topic for The Bold and the Beautiful to tackle as technology continues to advance and more and more people are being harassed with AI images of themselves in compromising positions, nude, or engaged in sexual acts. It's often revenge porn meant to humiliate the victim of the harassment for some perceived slight, difference of opinion, or as a means of "scoring points" on forums and chatrooms.

Electra has no idea who made those images and posted them online or why but she was right to be wary of her picture and information being a part of the marketing campaign for the jewelry line. That's how Remy found out that she was in LA and, as soon as he learned where she was, he made his way to the city as well.

Now he's working at Il Giardino and has an assurance from Electra that they'll hang out soon. Meanwhile, we're left wondering whether he was involved in the scandal that up ended Electra's life back home and concerned about the danger he'll be to her well-being.
