After some shock and disappointing eliminations, we didn’t know what to expect in Deal or No Deal Island season 2, episode 9. What would happen as the contestants went up against The Banker again? Would it lead to a bad deal or a player-chosen elimination?
The new episode saw the six contestants walk a beam for safety. However, they all ended up in the quick sand.
Who picked the player in Deal or No Deal Island season 2, episode 9?
The walk across the beam was a failure for all. It was a tiny beam in the rain, and the cases they had to get across was heavy. Everyone ended up in the quicksand, but it was David who showed everyone how to get across.
After Dickson started and failed to get his case across, David went second and showed that you just had to lay flat and swim across. Sure enough, everyone followed, with Parvati taking the only safety case left to guarantee her safety for the ninth challenge in the row.
With the cases opened, it was David with the highest value case. Not only did he guarantee safety, but he also got to pick who would go up. That was between Lete and Dickson, and in the end, David decided that since Dickson had already gone up against The Banker once, it was time for Lete to face The Banker.
She made it clear that if she beat The Banker, she would be sending Dickson home. She told David that when she made it clear that she didn’t want to play to get him to pick Dickson, and he still picked her. She is a woman of her word.
Who went home in Deal or No Deal Island season 2, episode 9?
It was a tough game to play. Things seemed to go well for Lete at the start, but with more big number cases, it was clear that some of them would have to go.
Lete was left with two on the left side of the board and one on the right. What decision would she make? Deal or no deal? She opted for the deal, putting $550,000 into the pot. The question is whether it was a good deal or a bad deal. There was a 66% chance that it was a good deal.
It turned out to be a good deal. So, did Lete stick to her guns? Did she eliminate Dickson?
Yes, she stuck to her word. Dickson went home from Deal or No Deal Island.
