Fantasy Suites are finally here! We are nearing the end of Grant’s journey on The Bachelor, and on episode 8 he was down to his final three women: Zoe, Litia, and Juliana.
Grant and his ladies traveled to the D.R this week, where Grant used to play basketball! I have to say, the production crew has really been stepping up their game with the shots of the exotic locales. I almost enjoy seeing shots of the setting more than the actual dates!
Each woman got a one-on-one date full of sun, sand, adventure, and a fantasy suite. So who was eliminated on Episode 8 of The Bachelor?
Who Grant sent home on The Bachelor season 29, episode 8
Production plays a cruel joke on Zoe by having her first and only one-on-one date be a silent yoga activity! How sad. It’s surprising she didn’t leave the show right then and there. You could see her face fall when Grant said "no talking," but she was a good sport about it. I'll say this for Zoe, she's a trooper!
At dinner, Zoe and Grant discuss their pasts and their futures. We learn that Zoe's favorite color is teal, which Grant had forgotten! Zoe says she wants to “build an empire” with someone, which I loved.
The way they speak to each other is just so formal. Zoe is trying her best to be game and go with the flow; it’s actually very impressive.
Unsurprisingly, Grant sends Zoe home at the end of the episode. She takes it pretty well, massively letting him off the hook for bringing her all this way. Very classy!
I just wish the show didn’t feel the need to go through the motions like this. How refreshing would it be if they allowed Grant to just be honest, call a spade a spade, and send Zoe home when he wanted? He could then spend more time with his final two!
Farewell, Zoe. You will be missed!
