It was time for Boy Band Night in The Masked Singer season 13, episode 8. The four remaining contestants in Group C took to the stage, going up against each other for a place in the next round. However, one would have to go home.
Caution: This post contains SPOILERS for The Masked Singer season 13, episode 8.
Boy bands have been around for decades. While most people will think of the boy bands of the late ‘90s and early ‘00s, such as Backstreet Boys and NSYNC, we have to remember Boyz II Men, New Edition, and even the Jackson 5!
So, it was a night of popular and fun music, as the four remaining contestants took to the stage. We got to watch Stud Muffin, Nessy, Yorkie, and Mad Scientist Monster take to the stage.
Who went home in The Masked Singer season 13, episode 8?
There were some excellent performances throughout the night, but it was Stud Muffin who couldn’t win the panelist and audience’s votes. His performance of “Poison” was excellent, but it just wasn’t as strong as the other performances of the night.
This did mean a final clue to help the panelists (and us) figure out who was under the mask. His case has a street sign that said “Stud Muffin District.”

Who was under the mask in The Masked Singer?
To be honest, this was one of those celebrities that wasn’t all that difficult to work out. Rita Ora both had it from the beginning, and she didn’t change her mind in the second episode.
Before the unmasking, the panelists did have to give their final guesses. Robin agreed with Rita and decided it was Method Man, while Ken guessed 2 Chainz and Jenny guessed MC Hammer. I’m not sure I can ever see MC Hammer doing this series, but hey, why not?
In the end, it was Method Man under the mask.
That’s it for another episode. It’s the Group C finals next week!
The Masked Singer airs on Wednesdays at 8/7c on FOX. Catch up the following day on Hulu.
