Cupid’s arrow has finally struck OA, and it finds him at 26 FED

This season of CBS’s FBI has been more personal, with each character having their own moment in the spotlight: Jubal trying to save his son, Scola and Nina getting married, learning more about Eva’s past, and Maggie, unfortunately, losing her sister.

So in the next episode on CBS’s FBI, it’s OA’s turn.

On the April 13 episode, OA finds himself in an interesting position when his two worlds begin to collide as he starts building a connection with Special Agent Zara Ushruf (Paradis Saremi), who is assisting the team on a case where a VA psychiatrist is found dead after being tortured, presumably by a religious leader with a big online presence.

OA has had an interesting love life. From seasons 6-7, he was in a relationship with Gemma Brooks, played by Comfort Clinton, a character that OA fell in love with as she was away from the chaos of his FBI world. For a while we thought that OA and Gemma might make it all the way, but that sadly was not in the cards.

They would later break up during the eighth edition of season 8, where Gemma revealed she had emotionally cheated on OA, leading to the breakup.

This breakup would have a lasting effect on OA, as in other episodes, it shows how alone OA felt, waking up alone in his house to keep Gemma’s slippers in his closet, hoping she would come back. That has not been the case and it seems the show is finally ready to have OA put himself back out there.

Now with a new love interest, it will be interesting to see how OA handles this, especially inside 26 FED, because now his two worlds are one. Will this be a flash-in-the-pan type of romance, or could that relationship actually evolve into something serious? If it does become something more than just a few dates, we'll have to see how the show addresses the challenges of working together.

Little is known about whether Pardis Saremi will appear in a guest capacity or if we'll see more of Agent Zara in the final episodes of the season. If the show truly wants to explore this new relationship, we imagine the April 13 episode won't be the only time we'll see Saremi.

Don't miss new episodes of FBI on Monday, April 13 at 9/8c followed by a new episode of CIA directly after.
