Tonight's all-new Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage will be emotional. It's already episode 5, and the Chuck Lorre sitcom has tapped into some marital challenges, but not ones our favorite couple from Texas can't tackle. But the biggest challenge is to come as Thanksgiving nears for the Cooper family.

We're still reeling from George SR.'s death in Young Sheldon's seventh and final season. The Cooper patriarch left an empty hole in his surviving members' hearts, especially his oldest son, Georgie, who had to grow up quickly to become the man of the house. He's now a father himself, so Georgie must remain true to his word and be the man he and his family need him to be.

The November 14th (tonight) episode is titled "Thanksgiving," which pivots Mandy to make it a happy holiday for her husband since it'll be the first one without his dad. I'm already crying at the possible outcomes, but I know it'll also be a feel-good piece, as it's a time for family and reflecting on the memories.

In "Thanksgiving," it'll be bittersweet for Georgie, as this will be his first Thanksgiving with his wife and daughter, CeeCee, and the first without his father. To help make it special for her husband, Mandy attempts to bring in his side of the family for a much-needed reunion. It'll be hard, and emotions might be high, but the Coopers love one another, even if they have different beliefs.

In the promo, Georgie contacts Missy to invite her over for the feast and get-together, but being at that age, she wants nothing to do with it. It's not surprising, considering that she ran into some trouble in the second episode, and she's taking her dad's passing hard, seeing how she was bonding with him in the last two seasons of Young Sheldon. Luckily, she has her brothers to watch out for, even if they get on her nerves.

The fourteen-year-old has a permanent trick up her sleeve to get her to agree to the visit. This plotline creates a bonding moment between Missy and Mandy, who agrees to her sister-in-law's desires if it means holding everyone together.

Missy won't be the only Cooper who might be joining Georgie and Mandy's holiday celebrations. Mary Cooper and her mother, Connie, aka Meemaw, might be stopping over, giving the Cooper women and Audrey McCallister time to connect.
