Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage episode 2 preview: Missy makes an appearance!

Young Sheldon spin-off Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage premiered last week, and now it's time for a new episode. I'm not going to lie. I had my doubts about this sequel series and was a bit nervous going in. Though I actually really enjoyed the first episode of the comedy-drama, and look forward to more. Are you the same? Thankfully there's a new episode coming up tonight! What can we expect to see?

Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage episode 2, " Some New York Nonsense," premieres tonight, Oct. 24, 2024 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS. That's going to be a 7 p.m. CT air time in the Midwest, and 5 p.m. PT if you live on the west coast. Those are very manageable times, and great times to watch your favorite show! Check out the release times below:

• East coast: 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Oct. 23
• West coast: 5 p.m. PT on Wednesday, Oct. 23
• Midwest: 7 p.m. CT on Wednesday, Oct. 23
• Mountain: 6 p.m. MT on Wednesday, Oct. 23

Depending on your Paramount+ subscription, you can also watch the episode live on the streamer if you have the Paramount+ with Showtime tier. However if it's Paramount+ Essential that is the one you pay for, the Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage episode will be available to stream the next day on Friday, Oct. 25.

What to expect from the new episode of Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage

Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage episode 2 is actually going to tackle quite a few plot points. It's definitely a busy one! I love how the show is just jumping right into things. The biggest and most exciting item of note is that Raegan Revord, aka Missy from Young Sheldon and Georgie's younger sister, will be guest starring! Last week we got to see Meemaw and Mary, and now it's Missy's turn. We shared the synopsis below:

"Georgie struggles to balance life, work and family; Mandy worries for Georgie's wellbeing; Missy gets into trouble at school."

Missy's storyline is of her getting into some trouble, which isn't a surprise as we know she's going to act out following the death of their father, George Sr. But I feel bad for Georgie too. It's clear he has so much responsibility on his shoulders - taking care of Mandy and CeCe, as well as his family after the patriarch's passing. And through all of that, he himself is grieving as well. If you check out the promotional images below as well, the poor guy is not looking too good.
