Here's what's coming up next on Abbott Elementary season 4 episode 6 on ABC (Preview)

Abbott Elementary season 4 is back with a new episode this week, and that always means a fun time! Last week, we saw Gregory almost get into a dad fight but with his wisdom and confidence, he was able to get out of a physical altercation. After all, all the two men care about most is Jabari. And that came through. So what's up next for our favorite group of teachers and when is the episode set to arrive?

Abbott Elementary season 4 episode 6, "The Deli," premieres Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2024 at 9:30 p.m. ET on ABC. I'm going to savor this one because afterwards, the comedy is going to go on a two-week break and return with a one-hour back-to-back holiday season special. But we'll think about not having our favorite show on later. Right now, here's when you'll be able to watch this week based on time zone:

• East coast: 9:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Nov. 13
• West coast: 6:30 p.m. PT on Wednesday, Nov. 13
• Midwest: 8:30 p.m. CT on Wednesday, Nov. 13
• Mountain: 7:30 p.m. MT on Wednesday, Nov. 13

Don't forget episodes are also available to stream on Hulu the next day on Thursdays as well. The streamer adds new installments at 12 a.m. PT / 3 a.m. ET. So it's only a little bit longer that you have to wait if you need to go the streaming route.

The gentrification storyline comes into play once again in the new episode of Abbott Elementary season 4. According to the synopsis, Melissa, Barbara, and Jacob "team up to fight the gentrification" of their neighborhood deli when it's forced to close for a "trendy smoothie place." These changes are slow, but they keep on coming. Will they be able to save the spot?

Elsewhere, the district wants Ava to give a presentation to other principals within the district. I mean, look. Ava has gotten much better about being a principal. I feel like the DNA of who Ava is, is still there. However, we're seeing her do less self-centered things and actually care about the school. And that's character growth right there.
