Abbott Elementary season 4 is back with a new episode this week, and it's going to be an intriguing one if we get to see what I think we get to see. The last two episodes have focused on the city bus drivers on strike, which meant that many students weren't able to get to school. I don't know if that storyline is going to continue in the new episode. But there another one we've been following that will be back in focus. We'll get to that in a moment. Abbott Elementary season 4 episode 12, "Girard Creek," premieres tonight, Jan. 29, 2025 at 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC. If you miss the linear debut, don't worry! New episodes are also available to stream on Hulu the next day on Thursdays. Here are the release times on television:

Alright, so what is it we're going to see in the episode? Well, it might be the day the school has been dreading. And that's the opening of the golf club. Since the start of the season, we've been talking about the new development and how it not only effects Abbott, but the area where they live and work as well. Here's the official synopsis:
"The Abbott Elementary students and staff are invited to a special grand opening preview of the Girard Creek Golf Club."
I mean, I'm sure this isn't just the golf club people being nice. It's probably more of a publicity stunt. I wonder if we're actually going to see the actual golf course and whether the students and staff are going to accept their invitation. Whether in the photo above they're looking at an update about the golf course being finished or something else, the staff does not look happy.
I'm sure Ava in particular isn't happy about this news as she's been blackmailing and using lawyer Miles Nathaniel to get things for the students and school. Now that the project is finished, she has no more leverage. Though knowing Ava, I bet she's going to ask for one more big thing. And she'll figure it out. If there's one things we know about our favorite teachers and staff it's that they're resilient and always find creative ways to support the students they care about. Check out more photos below!
