Cause of Death: Explosive blast from military warhead.
After years of planning, Hive’s plan (you know the one involving detonating a nuke above the Earth so that he can create an army of creepy, Primitive Inhumans) is quickly coming together and the finish line is finally in sight. Despite a few hiccups, Hive finds his way onto the Zephyr which he now plans to use as a means to set off the warhead.
Unfortunately, Daisy uses her abilities to move the warhead to the quinjet along with Hive. While Daisy’s herself does not get to follow through with the plan to fly the quinjet out into space in order to save humanity, someone on the team (more on them shortly) makes the ultimate sacrifice in deciding to give their life in order to save their friends and the world from Hive’s masterplan.
With the quinjet’s controls fried, the ship floats off into space where the warhead detonates killing both individuals on board the quinjet.
