Our band of future legends set to intercept Savage at an illegal arms auction, and it went horribly wrong. Not only do they not catch Savage, but Ray managesd to lose a piece of the Atom suit, and the tech ended up in the hands of Savage’s people. While Professor Stein, Jefferson and Sara set out to track Professor Stein’s younger self, Kendra and Carter figure out that a dagger that can kill Savage had recently been sold at auction so Ray, Snart and Rory set off to steal the dagger from it’s wealthy Russian owner.

While they manage to retrieve the tech, they accidentally muck up the timeline, and Stein doesn’t end up meeting his wife like he was supposed to. And that wealthy Russian who bought the dagger? None other than Vandal Savage, who captured Ray, Snart and Rory, then ordered them to call the others. The others arrived and managed to rescue the rest of their team, but unfortunately they misjudged how to use the dagger. Carter wielded it in a fight against Savage, but it was Kendra’s dagger which meant only she could use it against him. This ends up costing Carter his life. Savage managed to stab Kendra, but the rest of the team shows up in time to save her.
