When Laura received a phone call from an anonymous caller in a panic Laura and the 2nd Precinct were thrust into an case which took family drama to a whole new level. With a little help from Laura’s kid sister Lucy, the team was able to take down a major drug kingpin – Jimmy Chung.
Upon his arrest, Jimmy vowed to get revenge – with Laura catching his attention for her role in bringing him to justice.
At a press conference announcing Jimmy’s arrest, Jimmy enacted his revenge against Laura. However, his hitman missed the mark and shot Chief Santiani – a shot that would prove to be fatal. Chief Santiani was officially pronounced dead in the following episode, as the team began their quest to avenge the death of their beloved Chief.
