As much as we would love to say we’re jumping straight into a new episode of 911 on Thursday, that’s not the case. And it’s not just because next Thursday is Thanksgiving. 911 season 8 is now on a lengthy break.
The 911 season 8 fall finale brought a mixture of meta, humor, and heartbreak. We watched as Brad was able to talk a man down from the ledge, but it came with him opening up and almost wanting to jump himself. It’s that reminder that we have no idea what’s going on in someone else’s life.
Meanwhile, Eddie has a choice to make. He’s missing out on Christopher’s life, and it’s pretty clear that Christopher doesn’t want to come back to LA. I can’t really blame him with the life it seems he has with his grandparents, so Eddie will need to decide if his life in LA is more important than his life with his son. It looks like he’s planning a move to Texas.
How long do we need to wait for 911 season 8 to return?
So, now we’re heading into a lengthy break. Yes, this is longer than we’d like, but it’s around the usual length for 911. The show tends to have a three-month break allowing for time to film the rest of the season and then run straight through with minimal breaks before the May finale.
To be honest, it wasn’t that surprising to hear that 911 season 8 wouldn’t return until March. The return is a tiny bit earlier than normal, with the return date set for Thursday, March 6.
The show will kick off the TGIT lineup, which all returns on the same date. We even have an idea of what to expect.
Maddie is in trouble in 911 season 8, episode 9
Things aren’t looking good for Maddie when the series returns. There’s a serial killer on the loose, and one of our own is in trouble. This killer is after Maddie next. Of course, Athena isn’t going to rest until she gets her hand on the perp, but it’s sure to be touch and go throughout the episode.
At least Athena has worked out that the serial killer has Maddie. This isn’t like other shows where nobody knows one of our own is missing for some time.
