Friday nights have been a little familiar with a string of reruns throughout January. Are the reruns coming to an end yet? Will there be a new episode of Fire Country on tonight, Friday, Jan. 24?
There is some bad news to start this post. There will not be a new episode on tonight, but we are getting closer to the new episodes airing. When the show does return, there is some good news when it comes to the break that we’ve just faced.
What’s on CBS tonight?
CBS will still have some reruns on tonight. It’s time to head back to the Fire Country season 2 finale, which saw Gabriela prepare for her wedding day. She thought it would be the wedding of her dreams, but a lot went wrong in the end. That included an incident that we would have to wait until the season 3 premiere to see play out.
If you want to watch an episode that isn’t this one, you can turn to Paramount+. This is where all previous episodes are streaming, including the most recent season 3 episodes. It’s a great chance to catch up, as there isn’t long before the show is back with new episodes.
When will Fire Country return with new episodes?
In some great news, Fire Country is back next Friday. No, it’s not being pushed back like NCIS: Sydney. CBS will keep most of the planned programming the same.
The episode will see Chezem Valley’s fire blazing out of control. Audrey and Bode are left to fend for themselves as they figure out a way out of the fire. Meanwhile, Manny will risk his own freedom to find his missing daughter. He will do everything to protect her.
It’s all about family in the episode, as Eve is also putting her life on the line. She needs to do what she can to save both her father and the family ranch, but can she do both?
This could be a difficult show to watch right now. While Fire Country is mostly filmed in Vancouver, there were some shots in California for the larger shots. The wildfires in Los Angeles are on the minds of everyone right now, and I was expecting to see CBS delay the return of this series to mark that.
Fire Country will return on Friday, Jan. 31 at 9/8c on CBS.
