There is some good and bad news when it comes to Ghosts season 4. The worst of the news is that we won’t have any more new episodes throughout the month of March 2025.
When we first warned you that the series would take a break, we didn’t have a return date. Well, that has now changed, as CBS has updated its schedule and confirmed the return date. We couldn’t be more excited!
Why isn’t Ghosts airing a new episode tonight?
The lack of new episode has nothing to do with the series and everything to do with the network’s scheduling needs. It’s March Madness at the moment, which means CBS will air the tournament live on Thursdays and Fridays. For the next two weeks, we’ll see basketball instead of new episodes of our favorite shows.
This happens every year around this time. CBS is a business, and that means it needs to air content that is going to bring in the most views. The March Madness games are popular, so CBS is going to take advantage of those views while it can.
When will Ghosts return with new episodes?
Of course, with the show finally revealing Hetty’s powers, fans want to see what’s to come next. There’s a lot to explore in the world of Ghosts, and we know that we’ll get at least two more seasons to do that. So, when will the series return from its current break?
CBS has confirmed that Ghosts season 4, episode 17 will air on Thursday, April 3. There are no details about the episode just yet, but at least we have a return date.
There has been a lot of focus on Isaac, Pete, Hetty, and Alberta lately. It would be great to get a little more focus on Sass and his past, or on Trevor, who has really only been used in the B storylines for each episode lately. There’s also the threat of Hetty’s husband Elias coming back to collect the soul that he needs for Hell.
