Paradise quickly gained a following after its surprise series premiere drop on Hulu. The two episodes that followed continued the intriguing twist set up in the premiere.

Not everyone has or wants Hulu, though. Some people do still watch on cable, and Disney gets that. It’s why the series premiere of Paradise got a linear outing on both ABC and FX.

While you could go over to Hulu right now and watch the entire first season (well, once the season finale airs on Tuesday, March 4), there’s a chance to catch the episodes on ABC very soon.

When will Paradise air on ABC?

Monday nights are about to become all about Paradise. The show will get a linear outing on Mondays at 10/9c starting on Monday, April 7.

This will start with the series premiere again, so if you happened to miss it or you decided you didn’t want to risk getting invested in something just yet, you’ll be able to watch from the very beginning without another subscription.

The series is set in Colorado, in an underground bunker that is the size of a city. It’s three years after a doomsday event, and Secret Service Agent Zavier Collins wants to get to the bottom of the murder of the President of the United States.

Of course, there are secrets to come out. There are twists that we didn’t see coming. This series has developed into something we didn’t quite expect, and we are so here for it!

How can Paradise work for a linear audience?

There will likely need to be cuts made here and there to make the show fit the linear audience. While Only Murders in the Building has had a linear outing and worked fine without cuts, Paradise doesn’t just have the length to contend with. It also has the language and level of violence.

This is a TV-MA-rated series because it’s on a streaming platform. Broadcast networks are TV-14 at the most, so the show is surely going to need to bleep a few things or cut out some scenes to make it work. If you want to watch it as it was intended, you’ll need Hulu.

Paradise has been renewed for a second season

The great news is that there will be a second season of the series. The show was renewed ahead of the season finale, making it clear that this is something fans want to watch.

I know a lot of people won’t want to watch something until they know they’re not going to end up invested in something that gets canceled. Well, you don’t need to worry about that!

Paradise will premiere on ABC on Monday, April 7 at 10/9c.
