1000-Lb. Sisters gets an exciting update that points to a season 6
By Diana Nosa
As sad as we are to say it,1000-lb Sisters season 5 has officially come and gone.
This season of the TLC reality series has been a roller-coaster ride of emotions, as we watched how Amy and Tammy Slaton navigated some of life's hardest battles.
Fans' hearts went out to Amy when they witnessed how overwhelmed she was with juggling her two young sons while married to a man who doesn't offer much help in the kids' and/or house department. However, fans were even more gutted to learn that Tammy, the Slaton sister who's been in and out of relationships since season 1, sadly, lost her husband, Caleb Willingham, just months after their wedding.
Despite all the trials and tribulations, the Slaton sisters still kept going, doing their best to find joy in all their situations.
Now that season 5 is over, you're probably wondering if this is the last you'll see of the Slaton sisters. Fortunately for you, we have an update on a potential season 6. Check it out below!
1000-lb Sisters season 6 looks to be a go
As of today, TLC has yet to release an announcement regarding whether 1000-lb Sisters will return to its platform. However, according to Distractify, the Slaton family was spotted filming at Disney World, which would be great content for the show since it means every member of the family has lost enough weight to travel via plane. Also, it could mean every family member could ride the roller-coasters without size restrictions.
What's more, the TLC original reality TV series is super popular with hundreds of thousands of viewers tuning in every episode! All this and more point to a season 6 being more likely than not!
Hopefully, we will learn of the future of 1000-lb Sisters soon. But for now, we are pretty optimistic that won't be the last you'll see of the Slaton sisters.
