The month of February 2024 is coming to us with several new movies. Say goodbye to a sleepy start of the year, because there will be plenty to watch in February! However, not all upcoming movies are worth watching. After all, it's about quality over quantity, wouldn't you say? If you need some help deciding what to watch, we've got your back!
February is going to kick off with Argylle, an action-packed and star-studded spy comedy. The movie stars Henry Cavill, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Rockwell, Bryan Cranston, Dua Lipa, John Cena, Samuel L. Jackson, and others. Argylle follows Elly Conway (Bryce Dallas Howard), a spy novelist who finds herself in danger after learning her stories are coming true. Luckily, one of her fictional characters, Argylle, and his team are determined to keep her safe. It will lead the month with a release date of Feb. 2. Shortly after its big-screen release, Argylle is expected to stream on Apple TV+. Check out the trailer here:
Another highly anticipated movie is Madame Web, starring Dakota Johnson, Sydney Sweeney, Celeste O'Connor, Isabela Merced, and others. Madam Web is a superhero movie that follows the character of the same name from Marvel Comics. We'll see Cassie Webb help three young women being hunted by a deadly adversary while also forced to confront her past. See the movie in theaters on Feb. 14, the perfect Galentine's movie! Searching for romantic features? Streaming platforms such as Paramount+ will have several classic favorites available to stream. As for new releases, Prime Video will drop Upgraded. The romcom stars Camila Mendes as Ana, an art intern who meets William (Archie Renaux) on a plane while on her way to a work trip in London. Other movies you'll find under our recommendations, include the re-release of Turning Red, Suncoast, and others!

Now, not all movies can be winners, so we do have three movies we believe you can skip in favor of the six we recommend. First on our skip list, we have Lisa Frankenstein. Listen, it's not that we think the movie will be bad, it just comes off as a movie that should have been a streaming release. But hey, maybe it'll surprise us. I just know that I'll be waiting until the streaming release to find out.
I'll be honest here, I will be watching Jennifer Lopez's upcoming movie This is Me...Now: A Love Story. The only reason I am including this movie in the skip list, is because of the movie's target audience. Let's be frank, if you're not already a fan of Jennifer Lopez, this movie is not going to change your mind. This is Me...Now: A Love Story is for her fans timed to the release of the star's ninth album, This is Me...Now.
Finally, we have Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2, which should be self-explanatory. I still can't get over the fact that the first movie was made, so a sequel? It's just not for me. There are many other movies to watch, instead.
3 February movies to skip
