The Super Bowl gave us another intense look into the upcoming Quiet Place movie, A Quiet Place: Day One via an intense teaser trailer. Did you miss it over the excitement of the game? We share it below along with all the details we know about the movie so far (including the release date).

Based on John Krasinski's and Michael Sarnoski's original story, A Quiet Place: Day One will take fans to where it all started. But this time, we're going to New York. So while it does take place in the same universe, audiences will follow new characters and learn how the residents of one of the brightest and loudest cities in the world deal with the apocalypse.

Here at Hidden Remote, we are huge Quiet Place fans, so we were already sold on the movie. But when we learned that the great Lupita Nyong'o would star? Forget about it! Nyong'o is no stranger to the horror genre, so we can't wait to see her in this project. From what the teaser shows, she's going to be amazing. The movie also stars Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff, and Djimon Hounsou, among others. Check out the trailer AND the Super Bowl teaser here:

A Quiet Place: Day One is coming summer 2024

Fans anticipating the movie have been through a roller coaster of emotions regarding the release date for Day One. Initially, the movie was scheduled to premiere on March 31, 2023. However, it was promptly pushed back to Sept. 22, 2023, and later to March 8, 2024. And now, Paramount Pictures shared that A Quiet Place: Day One will come this summer on June 28, 2024. Hmmm, we'll believe it when we see it, Paramount Pictures! After so many date changes, though, I do think June 28 will be the date.

As far as when the movie will be released on streaming, that's anyone's guess! Let's first get through the big screen debut. But because this is a Paramount Pictures movie, Day One will more than likely stream on its platform, Paramount+, after it leaves theaters. The first two movies are currently available on Paramount+ if you want to rewatch them ahead of Day One.
