Bachelor in Paradise MIA on ABC 2024 summer schedule, hinting at late return (again!)

Summer might be coming, but it seems ABC won’t be taking us to Paradise this summer for the third consecutive year in a row. 

ABC has revealed its schedule for the summer and while Bachelor Nation will be getting a new season of The Bachelorette this summer, Bachelor in Paradise is once again missing from the summer schedule. This means that we’ll yet again have to go through the summer without getting to see our favorite singles from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette heading to Mexico for a second chance at love. 

It’s definitely a disappointing move, albeit not exactly a surprising one. Bachelor in Paradise has always made for a perfect summertime series what with its oceanside backdrop and loads of sexy singles. However, ABC has found the show to be a better fit for its fall lineup and that’s likely going to be the play for the next season of the show as well. 

Bachelor in Paradise season 10 is likely coming in September 

With Bachelor in Paradise season 10 missing from the ABC summer slate, the plan is likely for ABC to hold the next season for the fall. Seasons 8 and 9 both aired in the fall with season 9 being paired with The Golden Bachelor on Thursday nights, meaning there is perhaps a chance that ABC will try to pair the show with The Golden Bachelorette which is in development and could perhaps arrive this fall but that’s a big if.

ABC hasn’t yet officially confirmed Bachelor in Paradise is coming back for another season but it also hasn’t announced that the show is ending, so until that news comes through we’re expecting ABC will continue to head back to Paradise. 

The series is cheap to make and has a strong following, so we’d be shocked if ABC opted not to bring the show back in the fall be it alongside another Bachelor Nation series or paired with another ABC show. Should Bachelor in Paradise season 10 come in the fall, we imagine it should kick off sometime in late September.
