Blue Bloods season 14 episode 8 preview: Baez gets an unexpected blast from the past
By Cody Schultz
Friday has finally arrived and with it means a new episode of Blue Bloods coming our way!
Last week’s new episode kept the Reagan family quite busy, but that’s just a regular week for the first family of the NYPD. Jamie teamed up with Captain McNichols to bring down a group of scammers using AI to defraud the elderly, Danny and Baez stopped an Angel of Death killer, and Frank found a way to stop Gormley from participating in a smoker boxing match in helping him to put his ego and silly feud aside.
Needless to say, it was another busy episode and this week will be no different, so let’s break it down storyline by storyline!
Danny and Baez
Things are about to get intense for Danny and Baez as the duo are going to find themselves more than a little on edge after Sam Evans, the serial killer who once targeted Baez and her daughter, is granted an early release from prison.
Erin
Little is actually known about Erin's storyline for this week's episode as she isn't mentioned in the synopsis for the episode; however, the promo for tonight's new episode seems to hint that her storyline will be connected to Danny and Baez's storyline. In one moment from the promo, Erin is seen breaking the news to Danny about Sam Evans being released early and, needless to say, Danny isn't exactly happy about the news.
Jamie and Eddie
This week, Jamie is going to be again teaming up with Anthony this time to work on an investigation into one of Anthony’s criminal informants… who also just so happens to be the brother of his ex-wife. Meanwhile, Eddie is about to clash with her boss at work when Captain McNichols sides with a sergeant who seems to have a vendetta against Eddie and continues to downgrade her cases.
Frank
Finally, it seems like things are going to be a bit tense at 1PP after Abigail goes behind Frank’s back to help her husband by pulling some strings to get a professional favor for him.
