Fire Country season 3 will be the first time we see Bode Leone outside of prison orange for a full season which means we're finally going to know what his personal style is like. We got a taste of it in the season 2 finale, he was favoring neutrals like a buttery brown jacket and a dark grey hoodie, and he arrived at Gabriela and Diego's wedding in a black and grey suit combo. But we'll experience his fashion sense in force come next season as the show's costume designer Sara Byblow and star Max Thieriot have been piecing Bode's look together.

Byblow shared with US Weekly that the construction of Bode's style has been in the works since the middle of season 2 as the series began to crest toward its next chapter, its lead acclimating back to life outside of prison and finding his purpose.

"I mean, mid-season I was already putting together a million inspiration boards and, like, sending them back and forth to Max being like, ‘What do you think about this? It’s exciting to get — not even a new character but like — someone who we’ve grown to love and bring them to life in a different way. ‘Cause we really haven’t been able to do that yet."

We can expect Bode to have a "down home" look to him. Byblow had laughed about him wearing denim-on-denim in one scene during the finale, and teased that the rough and tough side of his personality will continue to transform in the third season which is something they're excited about. Fans likely will be, too.

While Fire Country isn't the kind of drama where there's a hyper-focus on fashion, each character does have a distinct style and presentation that speaks to their characterizations. Vince and Sharon have a hard rock edge to them with the latter having bursts of wild child flare when dressed up. Gabriela's look screams girl next door with a flirty, romantic tinge. Eve strays toward more masculine cuts and pairs comfort with style for classic looks. Jake is clean cut and streamlined. And Manny's wardrobe favors utilitarian pieces.

Where Bode will land on the sartorial wheel is anyone's guess but Byblow said that "[Max Thieriot] has his opinions and we truly have been collaborating on where Bode’s going to go and what Bode’s style is." He could land somewhere in the realm of his parents, having a fashion sense that strays toward leather, silver and gold jewelry, and denim. Or we can continue down the road of his wardrobe adopting a woodsy, well-worn, and well-loved look to it.

What's not for certain is whether Bode's switched up look will include a change of hairstyle. Back in May, showrunner Tia Napolitano was asked by TVLine (on behalf of a fan) whether Bode would be getting a haircut. She said, after laughing: "I’m not sure if we’re going to change Bode’s look. That’s a Max decision."

So "free from prison and living his best single life" Bode could have an array of new duds on top of a new way he does his hair or not. But, either way, it'll be fun to see how he's dressed in Fire Country season 3 and whether he'll be giving anyone a run for their money for best dressed on the show.
