99! See if you can get a 10/10 on this Brooklyn Nine-Nine trivia quiz
I'm not a big fan of comedies. It can be really hard to keep my interest in one and I'm picky about what I do watch. When it comes to Brooklyn Nine-Nine, I'm definitely willing to keep rewatching it over and over. It's literally one of the best comedy shows, ranking highly with Friends and The Big Bang Theory! It all comes down to the genius writing, the delivery from the actors, and the fun stories we see in each episode. B99 went on for eight seasons, do you think you fellow fans can remember all the details? Put your knowledge to the test with our Brooklyn Nine-Nine trivia quiz!
So how did you do, friends? I'm sure you got a 10/10, right? One of the most iconic and hilarious parts of the comedy was the rivalry and hatred between Captain Holt and Madeline Wuntch. I mean, the insults were just like no other. The late Andre Braugher's character may be straight-laced and monotoned, but the way the actor chose to deliver his lines added so much to Captain Holt. He's definitely my favorite character.
Holt and Muntch have so many memorable verbal barbs, and I think the one that stands out the most to me is, "ugh, what does that human blister want now? Does she intend to demote me even further? Or perhaps she'll transfer me to the swamps of New Jersey so I can patrol the sinkhole where she was spawned." When he wanted to be, Holt could be the sassiest of them all, and I love it!
When it comes to the best relationship on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, of course it's most definitely Jake and Amy. This couple is the ultimate OTP. It's so great to see that they're vastly different, yet complement each other so well. Jake learned to grow up when Captain Holt came in, but also when he became more serious with Amy, and the two eventually got married. What I also really appreciate and wish we saw more on TV is the way he supported her.
Jake never got jealous or felt "less than" because his wife ranked higher than him when Amy became a Sergeant, and later Chief at the Office of Police Reform. Even at the end of the series, we see that Jake is the one who chooses to stop working as a detective, one of the most important things to him, so he could stay home with their son Mac while Amy continued to work. The two always support each other, and it's just so lovely to see.
The Halloween Heists were some of the funnest episodes of B99, and the one in season 5 episode 4, "HalloVeen," was extra special because that's when Jake proposes to Amy! She knows how to guess his every move, but when it came to the proposal, she was caught off guard in the best way. He chooses to propose in the spot where they had their first kiss, and it's one of the most iconic proposals in television history! Would you agree?
All eight seasons of Brooklyn Nine-Nine are streaming on Peacock.
