There's a lot going on with The Bold and the Beautiful in January. Thomas popped the question only for the idea of marriage to his love, Hope, to be put on ice. Xander is back and accusing him of murder. Zende and RJ are still fighting over work and it's about to leap to Luna, too. And, while Eric's condition has been put on the back burner for now, we likely will return to that plot this month. What's set to happen the week of Jan. 8? Here's a quick look at the spoilers!

Monday, Jan. 8: The argument between Zende and RJ about the latter's job escalates. A romantic dinner for two is on the menu for Luna when she receives an anonymous invitation. Thomas tries to get Steffy to believe that he and Hope are good for one another.

Tuesday, Jan. 9: Xander isn't changing his tune while talking to Finn; he's adamant that Thomas murdered Emma. Luna thought RJ was the one who invited her to dinner but it turns out the romantic gesture came from Zende.

Wednesday, Jan. 10: RJ flips his lid when Luna tells him what Zende did to spend some alone time with her. Steffy can't believe that Xander is not backing down with his accusations.

Thursday, Jan. 11: Finn puts Steffy on the spot and pushes for her to ask Thomas directly about what happened to Emma. Liam's in for a shock when he finds out about Thomas' proposal to Hope.

Friday, Jan. 12: Thomas opens up to Steffy about the night Emma died.

As you can see, it's a going to be a drama filled week. Many a plot is going to be sharing space and, to be honest, that's a good thing. It allows for everyone to get a little bit of something. If you don't like one storyline, there are others to sink your teeth into.

Aside from the Xander plot, which I'll dig into in a moment, the most eyebrow raising reveal in the spoilers for the week is that Liam's going to learn about Thomas' proposal. I'm so intrigued to find out how that happens. Will he and Hope be arguing and she blurts it out or will her engagement necklace swing free when they're talking? I'm hoping for the latter. Hope has been fiddling with that chain ever since Thomas put her engagement ring on it.

The piece of jewelry is a new addition but it's already become her tell. When she's nervous or feeling self-conscious, she starts touching it. Someone was going to notice, and I'm delighted that the first person is Liam. His reaction is not going to be good that's for sure. Though now that I'm speculating about it, he could also just overhear a conversation between Hope and Thomas. Eavesdropping has been the name of the game recently on The Bold and the Beautiful, but I really do hope that it's the ring that clues him in.

Circling back to the Xander plot, it looks like Adain Bradley wasn't tapped to appear just for his character to tell Finn about Emma and then disappear leaving chaos in his wake. His return to double down on what he said, however, is certain to make things worse. By Friday we'll learn whether the soap is going to rewrite what happened to Emma back in the day.

I'd prefer if they stuck to as close to the original storyline as possible considering it's not out of the realm of possibility that everyone in Thomas' life would know the truth and still sweep it under the rug. These characters are willing to overlook a lot for the people they love and that has always been the case. Also, just because I don't want Thomas to spiral over losing Hope and I really can't do anymore back and forth with these two, fingers crossed Hope doesn't go running for the hills no matter what's said. She knew Thomas was involved in Emma's death, let's not act brand new.

A love triangle is brewing with RJ/Luna/Zende. That is, of course, if Luna starts to feel something for RJ's cousin. Right now she's being his friend and is clearly in love with RJ but it wouldn't be too surprising if she gets confused at some point down the line. Personally, I'm still waiting to learn more about Luna's design ambitions and I'm of the mind that's only going to happen with Zende but we'll see. What we can expect is for RJ to lose his cool when he learns Zende is making a move on Luna.

It's my hope though that Zende is stepping over the line because he likes Luna and not because he wants to get back at RJ. Trying to "steal his girl" out of spite is villainous behavior, and he deserves better than that and so does Luna. Not to pull a Luna and get way ahead of myself, but if there's one wedge that could be driven through Luna and RJ, it's Bill.

The Spencer patriarch isn't high on RJ's list of admirable people, in fact, he's nowhere near it and RJ keeps making that known. If Dollar Bill does turn out to be her father that could become a problem. Zende doesn't have baggage when it comes to the billionaire and that could play in his favor later in the year.

See you Monday for our daily recap, Bold fans, stay beautiful!
