Claim to Fame season 3 had its first elimination! Who went home (and who are they related to)?

Claim to Fame season 3 is off to a great start! The new season, hosted by brothers Frankie and Kevin Jonas, introduced us to 11 individuals who all have one thing in common. They are related to a famous celebrity, but have to keep it a secret in order to make it to the end of the season and win lots of money! But unfortunately, one person couldn’t make it to the end of the episode unscathed.

For this season, we met Adam, Dedrick, Gracie Lou, Naomi, Miguel, Shane, Bianca, Mackenzie, Hud, Danny, and Jill. The first episode followed the same playbook as previous seasons, with the contestants introducing themselves with at least one lie about their celebrity relative. A major difference this year was that when they tried to check the clue wall, it was locked behind a cabinet!

This was a great way to switch things up and not make it easy for them. Along with the talent show, which saw Gracie Lou safe from elimination, we got to see different sides of the contestants and learn some more little clues about who they could be related to. But who didn’t quite make the final cut in the first episode?

The bottom two were Miguel and Bianca, meaning they both had the chance of being the guesser. Miguel took it harder, wanting to win at the end to help give his family a better life. No one knew who anyone in the house was, so it was difficult for anyone to truly make a guess or to decide who should make that final call. One person did try, though, and it was Bianca who was chosen to be the guesser. Bianca’s guess, however, failed her, and she ended up being eliminated. So who is her celebrity relative?

Who is Bianca related to?

It’s none other than Peabody award-winning journalist and Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts. Bianca, whose last name is also Roberts, is her niece! After the show aired, she took to Instagram to ask if anyone guessed her correctly. From her YouTube channel bio, she appears to be a retired real estate agent.

From what we saw of her in the first episode, Bianca could have been a worthy contender. However, with no one sure about anyone’s identity in the first go around, it was more than likely that one bad guess would occur in the first episode. While we’re sad to see Bianca go, we loved getting the chance to meet her and learn how she was related to Robin Roberts.

Unfortunately for the cast, the second episode will already have a double elimination! Plus, it also appears there will be canoes involved in the next hunt for more clues. So they will have to fight hard to make it to the end and avoid a double elimination.

New episodes of Claim to Fame air Thursdays on ABC at 9/8c. You can catch up on this season, as well as the first two seasons on Hulu.
