Don't expect a warm and fuzzy welcome between Bill and Will Spencer.

A scream straight out of a horror movie is set to introduce teenage Will Spencer on The Bold and the Beautiful. The moment happened on Wednesday, July 31's episode, but we'll actually come face-to-face with Bill's youngest child on Aug. 1 in what will surely be an uncomfortable scene for all involved. See, Will has inadvertently walked in on his father and his new lady love in an intimate moment in their bedroom, hence Poppy's scream.

Notably, this won't be a laughing matter as Crew Morrow, who is making his soap debut as Will, has teased that Bill and his son have a strained relationship. When speaking to Soap Opera Digest, Morrow shared the following about their dynamic:

"I remember [Don Diamont] reaching out to me, and we both knew what our relationship was, sort of like a father-son strain. There’s so much love there, but there’s so much history and pain. And he knew from right out of the gate, just as I did, that me and him were going to go back and forth. And it wasn’t going to be all love — we were going to be father and son, but we would have moments where we were enemies. I am just so excited to build upon that."

Based on the actor's words, it looks like Bold will be circling back to the tension that the pair once had back when Katie was suing for sole custody. This was due to Bill being absent during the time he was pursuing Steffy while she was pregnant with Kelly, her daughter with his son, Liam. It was a right mess but Bill was contrite and did earn Will and Katie's forgiveness.

Will was a child at the time, but he'd learned that his father's attention could turn from him. Perhaps that is a point the story is looking to explore. When speaking about the dynamic his character has with Poppy and Luna, Morrow explained that "It's a little rocky, that's for sure," which is understandable. Katie has consistently told Bill that this transition won't be as smooth as he may hope. She's been of the mind that their son may struggle with it and it looks like the plot will be backing her up.

"Listen, it’s not the greatest of welcomings, I guess. He doesn’t really know what to think because he has his loving parents and the life that he grew up with. And now there’s these new gals in town [who’ve] sort of made it seem like it’s their place, too."

While Luna's appearance doesn't displace Will from being the baby of the family, she is a new addition that he'll have to adjust to. Unlike his brothers--Wyatt and Liam--Will grew up with Bill around. Luna didn't have that luxury and Bill's determined make up for lost time. That's going to cause issues particularly with Katie sharing her doubts about Poppy with her son. The two are close and, as Morrow put it, "I think he listens to his mother a lot and I think he believes what his mother believes."

Currently, Katie believes that Poppy is not to be trusted. While she thinks the world of Luna, it's very clear that she does not want the young woman to be Bill's daughter. She has been looking for some kind of error or lie to negate the reality that her ex now has a new adult child to dote on. It looks like she's already poisoned the well before Will can even get to know his sister which is a problem.

It doesn't help matters that Will is apparently entitled. He's the only one of Bill's children who grew up in immense wealth. Poppy was doing her best to get by, Quinn was selling jewelry but also running cons when she needed money, and Kelly wasn't well-off. As such he has "a certain swagger" and "definitely a little bit of ego" which will rear its head in scenes, even with his brother Liam who he'll be trading quips with when they have their scene.

Bill has always used "being born with a silver spoon in your mouth" as an insult against Ridge Forrester but he's got a son who grew up in similar circumstances. I do wonder how that's going to play out now that Will is older and developing into his own man. We'll get our first look at their dynamic on Aug. 1.
