The magic of the holidays is in motion and what better way to join in then a parade? But it's not just any parade; it's the 91st Hollywood Christmas Parade. Hosted by veteran TV actor Erik Estrada (NBC CHiPS) and travel expert Laura McKenzie, the event will not only offer fun balloons, floats, and celebrities, but it also has a purpose.
The parade has been a major participant in the nonprofit US Marines Toys For Tots, an organization that distributes toys and books to less-fortunate children during the holidays. Last year, Toys For Tots donated over 24 million toys, which is extraordinary because there are so many kids who need a Christmas miracle.
Which celebrities will be honored at The Hollywood Christmas Parade this year?
The celebrity lineup for this year's event includes Quantum Leap's stars Raymond Lee, Ernie Hudson, and Caitlin Basset, Peacock's TED Alana Ubach, The Hallmark Channel's Andrew Walker, and SNL alum Chris Kattan. Then there's musician and actress Tatyana Ali, and sister pop duo, Aly and AJ Michalka.
Then it's not officially Christmas until The Grinch makes his visit. The green guy will be taking the night off from the stage and will be instead delighting the parade's guests and participants. Performing at the parade will be the 1970s supergroup, The Village People, so it's sure to be a festive time.
