Friends star David Schwimmer will be featured in Goosebumps season 2 on Disney+

I'll be the first to admit I have not yet watched the retelling of Goosebumps on Disney+. Don't get me wrong, from what I have seen, it seems like a fun supernatural horror series! I just have not had the time, but now that I've learned Friends star David Schwimmer is leading the cast in season 2, you bet I'll make the time!
Goosebumps on Disney+ does feature some of the iconic monsters from the highly popular R. L. Stine books, but it does a great job standing out from other similar projects. The series focuses more on the storytelling, which would not be possible without a great cast. The first season stars Zack Morris, Justin Long, and Isa Briones, among others.
There's no question Schwimmer is a very talented actor, so fans can't wait to see David Schwimmer have fun on set, showing off a more spooky side. Of course, Schwimmer's most memorable role will always be playing Ross Geller, but the actor has gone on to star in many other projects since leaving the Friends set.
Most notably, Schwimmer voices the character of Melman from the Madagascar movie franchise. The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, Will & Grace, and other projects. From these three, I admire Schwimmer's work in American Crime Story the most. The award-winning series even earned the actor an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie for his portrayal of Robert Kardashian.
If you want to catch up on the first season of Goosebumps before the second arrives, go stream all of the episodes now on Disney+. However, this is an anthology series, so you odn't necessarily need to watch the first season to understand the second! Still, I'll be watching, will you?
David Schwimmer is the first new star to be officially confirmed to appear in the upcoming season. According to Deadline, Goosebumps season 2 will follow two teen siblings who stumble on a puzzling mystery that has kicked off a series of dangerous events. All events seem to point to the mysterious disappearance of four teenagers who went missing in 1994. But solving this mystery may be more than what the siblings can take on. So who will Schwimmer play? The sibling's father, of course!
As Variety shares, Schwimmer will portray Anthony, a divorced man and father of the siblings (revealed to be twins) who are spending summer vacation with their dad. As soon as we know about a release date, we'll update this post!
